ed

which heirlooms have done best for you in earthboxes? thanks for the excellent comparison study.

H. Mark Delman

Ive tried 4 varieties and all did well in the Earth Box - Bonny Best, an Indeterminate heirloom thats good for canning, Oregon Spring, a determinate hybrid for slicing, Snowberry, an indeterminate heirloom cherry tomato, and Stupice, an early season indeterminate heirloom slicer. I think you can grow pretty much anything in an Earthbox but you might want to stay with varieties that have small to medium sized fruit because they will be easier to stake. Thanks for visiting and good luck with your garden!
